Several styles are possible : CHIBI, SIMPLE ILLUSTRATION and PAINTING.
Then, you have three options : PORTRAIT, HIPS-UP (or half-body), and FULLBODY.

Digital Commissions

This type of commission includes any work made digitally, with a graphic tablet and a drawing program, such as Photoshop, Paint Tool SAI, or Clip Studio Paint.

Frequently Asked Questions

How can I estimate the price of a commission ?

The percentage is based on the base price.

• ex: for a "simple illustration" digital portrait of two characters with background, the price would be : 
  • ​80€ (base price for a "simple illustration" portrait)
  • +40€ (+50% of base price for an extra character)
  • +60€ (+75% of base price for a background)
    • = 180€​

What is the difference between Portrait, Hips-Up, and Fullbody ?

The differences are the following :

• A portrait/bust commission crops the character around the neck/shoulder area.
• ​A hips-up, or half-body, illustration shows the character from the hip area and up.
• A fullbody shows the character's entire body.

What is the "Background" extra, exactly ?

The background can be :

• A scene of action
• A landscape (urban, natural...)
• An embellishment (flowers, ornaments, decorations...)

What is not counted as "extra" is : 

• A monochrome background
• Abstract / Textured forms
• A basic frame

When does an "extra character" count as one  ?

What counts as an "extra character" is another character, similar to the main subject (human + human, animal + animal...), whatever the size (adult, child, baby). If the character, however, does not occupy an important part of the picture, then it is not counted as an "extra".

Why did the prices go up so high ?

Research and useful critiques showed that the prices I offered were way too low.
I need to cover two things : 

• the time I spend on art
• taxes, fees and supplies needed for art.

The prices I offer now are still minimal, freelancing being my secondary, part-time activity. Thank you for understanding.
